The FE Applied Science Department of SGOI Faculty of Engineering & Management, Belhe was started in the year 2010. The goal of the Department is to prepare students for successful careers in software and hardware industry that meets the needs of Indian and multinational companies or to excel in higher studies.

Mission
The department of First Year Engineering Science provides adequate knowledge for problem solving skills and its applicability to the students of all Engineering disciplines.
It also aims to inculcate good human values. The department provides valuable inputs on the engineering disciplines, professional ethics and skill developments like sharpening analytical and practical reasoning problem solving and communicating.
Greetings! On behalf of the faculty members, staff, and students of the Department of Applied Science of SGOI Samarth Faculty of Engineering & Management, Belhe. I welcome you all to the creative world of Engineering. I believe the all discipline of rngineering has been widely recognized as an essential source and technique for the advancements in all spheres of human Endeavour now and in future. In SGOI COE&FOM all the students gets the opportunity to excel in their academic activities. This is the department where students publish papers in international journals, at the same time a student wishing to achieve some recognition in extra-curricular or co-curricular activities will also find the atmosphere helpful.
Among the reasons why our graduates are such favorites of industry is the consistent hands-on experience-based approach of our curriculum, our excellent laboratories, the long-time connections between Department and the industry. A graduate of the Computer Engineering Program will demonstrate-
- Professional Skills-The ability to understand, analyze and develop computer programs in the areas related to algorithms, system software, multimedia, web design, big data analytics, and networking for efficient design of computer-based systems of varying.
- Problem-Solving Skills- The ability to apply standard practices and strategies in software project development using open-ended programming environments to deliver a quality product for business success.
- Successful Career and Entrepreneurship- The ability to employ modern computer languages, environments, and platforms in creating innovative career paths to be an entrepreneur, and a zest for higher studies.
